Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized post_id
Published Feb 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Asgaros Forum before 2.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries through its REST API. The reaction endpoint inserts the request-body post_id value into a SQL statement without sanitization or escaping. Any authenticated WordPress account can reach the route, enabling blind extraction or modification of database data through crafted post_id values.
