CVE-2022-0390Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Issue-detail disclosure via stale link authorization

Published Apr 1, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Missing authorization in GitLab 12.7 through 14.5.3, 14.6 through 14.6.3, and 14.7.0 allows remote authenticated users to read issue details. When a vulnerability issue link is deleted, the API serializes and returns the linked issue without rechecking whether the requester can still access that issue. A low-privileged user must have created the link while the issue was accessible; later loss of access does not prevent disclosure of its title, description, state, or assignees.
