Stored XSS via unescaped Link field
Published Mar 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored XSS in Interactive Human Anatomy with Clickable Body Parts before 2.6 allows remote authenticated users to store browser-executed script. The plugin saves a body part's Link setting without sanitizing or escaping its value, causing injected script to be emitted when the configured content is viewed. Administrator-level access is required to change the setting, but WordPress denial of the unfiltered_html capability does not block exploitation.
