Reflected XSS via unescaped PHP_SELF output
Published Feb 4, 2022 · Updated Feb 10, 2025
Reflected XSS in Fotobook 3.2.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary scripts through crafted request paths. The options-fotobook.php page places $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] into its HTML output without sufficient escaping, causing the request path to be reflected as executable markup. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted request, and the injected script runs in that user's browser under the affected site's origin.
