Stored XSS via AngularJS form-title interpolation
Published Jan 26, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Live Helper Chat before 3.93 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through a crafted form title. The collected-form template HTML-encodes the stored title but leaves it inside AngularJS compilation scope, causing template expressions to be evaluated. Low-privileged form-creation access is required, and opening the collected-form view runs the payload in the viewer's application origin, exposing data available to that session.
