Unauthenticated SQL injection via unsanitized option
Published Jan 26, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in ShowDoc before 2.10.3 allows remote attackers to execute SQL commands via crafted request parameters. The uid/option request handling inserts the option value into a SQL statement without proper sanitization or escaping. Unauthenticated network access is sufficient, with potential to read or modify database contents and interrupt service.
