Calendar event exposure and modification via overbroad capability
Published Jan 25, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Incorrect authorization in affected Moodle LMS releases allows remote authenticated users to read or modify any calendar event. Calendar event authorization interprets calendar:manageentries as permission for unrestricted CRUD operations without excluding user-level events. Manager access with that capability is required, and successful exploitation exposes or changes events belonging to other users.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
