Member deletion via missing bulk-action nonce
Published Feb 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in WP Affiliate Manager Simple Membership before 4.0.9 allows remote attackers to delete member accounts. The bulk-members administration handler accepts an attacker-chosen bulk-delete action and member identifiers without verifying a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open a crafted request; successful use deletes the selected membership records.
