Admin-level SQL injection via unescaped action parameter
Published Mar 7, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in AJdG Solutions AdRotate Banner Manager before 5.8.22 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries. The adrotate_request_action function places the unsanitized and unescaped adrotate_action request value into an SQL statement. An Administrator-level WordPress account and a valid action nonce are required; a crafted request can alter query behavior, including a demonstrated time delay.
