Stored script execution via unchecked pricing-rule names
Published Jan 17, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored XSS in Pimcore 10.2.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script in an administrator's browser via a rule name. PricingController::renameAction accepted the submitted name without a server-side character allowlist and persistently stored it as a pricing-rule name. Reachability requires authenticated pricing-rule access and a subsequent administrator view, allowing script to read or modify data in that browser context.
