XXE in Stanford CoreNLP 4.3.2 and earlier allows local users to read files by supplying a malicious XML schema to a processing workflow. The getValidatingXmlParser method creates a SchemaFactory and loads the supplied schema without enabling secure XML processing. Exploitation requires an application or user to invoke the validating XML parser with the attacker-controlled schema; the bounded consequence is local file disclosure.
