SQL injection via unvalidated export sorting parameters
Published Feb 21, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Sygnoos Popup Builder before 4.0.7 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to alter SQL queries. The csv_file admin-post action inserts unvalidated orderby and order request values into the subscriber-export SQL statement without proper escaping. Administrator-level access is required, and the published proof of concept demonstrates time-based query execution through the CSV export endpoint.
