Stored script execution via unescaped group names

Stored XSS in Red Hat build of Keycloak before 20.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through crafted group names. The Add user page's Groups dropdown inserts stored group names into rendered results without escaping HTML, so an event-handler payload runs when the dropdown is searched. Group-creation privileges are required, and the script runs in the admin-console context when another administrator filters the dropdown, allowing theft of data accessible to that session.
