Code execution via critical-file path traversal
Published Jan 30, 2023 · Updated Feb 5, 2025
Path traversal in Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Power Commission before 2.22 allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted paths. The unnamed path-handling locus fails to confine attacker-controlled paths and can create or overwrite program or library files outside the intended directory. Exploitation is unauthenticated but requires user interaction; successful file replacement causes code execution when the altered program or library is loaded.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
