Unauthenticated service interruption via oversized popup data
Published Feb 14, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Improper input validation in Muneeb Popup | Custom Popup Builder before 1.3.1 allows remote attackers to interrupt a WordPress site. The popup form accepts an unauthenticated theme_id value without a length limit and stores it for automatic loading on every page view. An administrator-created popup must exist; submitting oversized data can exhaust resources whenever pages render.
