Script execution via unescaped tab parameter
Published Feb 14, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in PowerPack Lite for Beaver Builder before 1.2.9.3 allows remote attackers to run script via a crafted admin tab URL. The admin settings handler outputs the untrusted tab parameter into the page without sanitizing or escaping it, allowing injected markup to execute. Execution requires a logged-in administrator to follow the crafted URL; the script runs in that administrator's browser context.
