Authenticated form-data disclosure via unchecked AJAX authorization
Published Mar 7, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Missing authorization in RedNao Smart Forms before 2.6.71 allows remote authenticated users to download arbitrary stored form data. The rednao_smart_forms_entries_list AJAX action accepts an attacker-selected Form identifier and returns its entries without checking the caller's capability to view that form. Subscriber-level access and a valid WordPress session suffice, and exposed entries can contain personally identifiable or other sensitive information.
