Authenticated script execution via unescaped leads search
Published Feb 7, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in Premio's mystickyelements plugin before 2.0.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via the leads search. The contact-leads administration page reflects the search-contact query value into an HTML attribute without neutralizing quotes or markup. A logged-in WordPress user must persuade an administrator to open a crafted URL, causing script execution in the administrator's browser context.
