Unauthenticated code execution via staged web-root file
Published Jan 14, 2022 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Remote code execution in Tenable Security Center 5.14.0 through 5.19.1 allows remote attackers to execute code via a staged file. Tenable has not published the required file type, the request handler, or the operation that processes the staged web-root file. Exploitation requires prior placement of that file in the host web root; successful exploitation executes code with the service context.
