URL spoofing in Compositing in Google Chrome before 97.0.4692.71 allows remote attackers to spoof Omnibox contents via crafted HTML. Google identifies the faulty locus only as Compositing and has not published the incorrect rendering operation applied to the page. A user must open the attacker-controlled page; the false URL-bar display can misrepresent the page's origin without reported data disclosure or service interruption.
