Information exposure in Palo Alto Networks GlobalProtect App 5.2 before 5.2.9 allows local users to read cleartext VPN credentials from logs. On Windows, Connect Before Logon authentication writes the connecting user's credentials to a log file without redacting the password. Exposure requires Connect Before Logon to be enabled and local low-privileged access, permitting credential theft but no data modification or service interruption.
