Server crash via unvalidated movement coordinates
Published Sep 6, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026
Improper input validation in PMMP PocketMine-MP before 3.18.1 allows remote attackers to crash servers via crafted movement packets. Player::handleMovePlayer rounds and subtracts position values without first rejecting NaN or infinite position and rotation components, allowing warnings to become unhandled exceptions. A connected malicious client can interrupt the server or make affected clients unable to render other players, without user interaction.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
