CVE-2021-47987Network attack vector

Unreviewed code installation via misdirected version tags

Published Jun 25, 2026 · Updated Jun 25, 2026

Supply-chain exposure in listed Parse Server tags before 4.10.0 allows attackers to introduce unreviewed code through git dependencies. The affected tags resolved git-based dependencies to a contributor's personal fork rather than reviewed Parse Platform source, while published releases were unaffected. Exposure requires a project to reference one of those git tags or use the affected Bitnami 4.9.3 image; no malicious code or specific resulting vulnerability was identified.
