Administrator-browser script execution via stored preset
Published Jun 8, 2026 · Updated Jun 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Max Foundry WP-Paginate 2.1.3 allows remote authenticated users with settings access to run script in an administrator's browser. The settings handler accepts the preset parameter from a POST request, persists it, and later renders it without neutralization on the settings page. WordPress settings-page access is required to plant the payload, and an administrator must view that page before browser-context script execution occurs.
