Admin-session script execution via unsanitized fieldtitle
Published May 16, 2026 · Updated May 16, 2026
Stored XSS in WP Learn Manager 1.1.2 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in an administrator's browser through fieldtitle. The jslm_fieldordering saveuserfield action accepts a fieldtitle value without sanitization, validation, CSRF protection, or capability checks and stores it for later rendering. An unauthenticated POST can plant the payload, but execution requires an administrator to view the field ordering interface; the script then runs in that privileged WordPress origin.
