Unrestricted PHP file upload in Textpattern CMS 4.8.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary server commands. The Files section accepts a PHP shell into /textpattern/files/, where a request can pass a GET parameter to the shell's system function. Access to the administration-side Files section is required; successful exploitation runs commands with the web server process's privileges.
