Unauthenticated SQL injection via JSON id field
Published May 10, 2026 · Updated May 10, 2026
SQL injection in Balbooa Forms 2.0.6 allows remote attackers to read sensitive database data through an unauthenticated form submission. The com_baforms submission handler treats attacker-controlled JSON in the id field as SQL syntax instead of neutralizing it before query execution. No account or user interaction is required; a crafted multipart POST request can execute arbitrary database queries and expose or alter stored data.
