Session hijacking via reflected search parameters
Published Feb 1, 2026 · Updated Feb 1, 2026
Reflected XSS in WebMO Job Manager 20.0 allows remote attackers to run script in another user's browser through a crafted search URL. The jobmgr.cgi search form places filterSearch and filterSearchType GET values into its HTML response without neutralizing injected markup. Exploitation requires a victim to open the URL; the script runs in that user's session and enables session theft, phishing, or external redirects.
