Stored script execution via unsanitized icon titles
Published May 10, 2026 · Updated May 10, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in AccessPress Social Icons 1.8.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in plugin-page viewers. The icon-title input stores HTML event-handler payloads without neutralization and renders the stored value in the plugin interface. An account able to configure social icons can persist code that runs in the browser context of any user who later opens that interface.
