Local file disclosure via unvalidated remote upload URL
Published Jan 23, 2026 · Updated Jan 23, 2026
SSRF in MFScripts YetiShare File Hosting Script 5.1.0 allows remote attackers to read local files through the remote upload endpoint. The url_upload_handler flow passes the unvalidated url value through handleRemoteUrlUpload to cURL, which accepts file-scheme paths. An internet-reachable remote upload feature and a request session expose files readable by the PHP process; the demonstrated request retrieves /etc/passwd.
