CVE-2021-47893Public exploit

Application crash via oversized Trace Route hostname

Published Jan 23, 2026 · Updated Jan 23, 2026

Denial of service in AgataSoft PingMaster Pro 2.1 allows local users to crash the application through the Trace Route hostname field. The Trace Route dialog accepts and processes a pasted 10,000-character hostname without enforcing an input-length or resource limit. Exploitation requires a local user to open Trace Route, paste the generated text, and request hostname resolution; the demonstrated consequence is an application crash.
