Unauthenticated command execution via keyboard action packets
Published Jan 23, 2026 · Updated Jan 23, 2026
Missing authentication in Unified Remote 3.9.0.2463 allows remote attackers to execute commands through crafted packets to TCP port 9512. The server accepts unauthenticated Remote Keyboard action packets and turns their key values into host keyboard input, letting a packet sequence open cmd.exe and type commands. Network reachability to the server is required; exposure is normally local-network only unless TCP 9512 is made externally reachable.
