LocalSystem code execution via unquoted service path
Published Jan 21, 2026 · Updated Jan 21, 2026
Local privilege escalation in Luidia eBeam Interactive Suite 3.6 allows local users to execute code as LocalSystem via a service path. The auto-start eBeam Stylus Driver registers its executable path without quotation marks, causing Windows to search spaced path prefixes before the intended binary. Exploitation requires local write access to a searched parent directory; the planted executable runs at service startup or reboot with LocalSystem rights.
