Session compromise via reflected search input
Published Feb 1, 2026 · Updated Feb 1, 2026
Reflected XSS in NetArt Media Easy Cart 2021 allows remote attackers to execute script in a visitor's browser through a search request. The index search module places the POST keyword_search value into its results page without neutralizing executable HTML, causing the browser to run injected script in the site's origin. Exploitation requires a visitor's browser to submit an attacker-crafted request and render the results, exposing session data and permitting content manipulation.
