CVE-2021-47843Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Code execution via stored Node-enabled XSS

Published Jan 15, 2026 · Updated Jan 15, 2026

Stored XSS in Tagstoo 2.0.1 allows context-dependent attackers to execute code when a user opens a crafted file or folder. The desktop interface renders file or custom-tag content as active HTML without neutralizing event handlers, letting injected JavaScript invoke Node process APIs. Exploitation requires a crafted item to be opened in Tagstoo; successful code runs with the application user's access to local files and processes.
