CVE-2021-47830Public exploitNetwork attack vector

SMTP configuration changes via missing nonce validation

Published Jan 21, 2026 · Updated Jan 21, 2026

CSRF in the GetSimple CMS SMTP Contact Plugin 1.1.1 allows remote attackers to alter SMTP settings through an administrator's browser. The plugin's addsettings action accepts configuration POST data without validating the CMS nonce. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to visit an attacker-controlled page; direct impact is unauthorized configuration modification, while code execution requires a separate PHP injection flaw.
