Application crash via oversized Excluded-field input
Published Jan 16, 2026 · Updated Jan 16, 2026
Denial of service in DupTerminator 1.4.5639.37199 allows local users to crash the Windows application through the Excluded text box. The Excluded field accepts an 8,000-character string without enforcing an input-length limit, and handling that value stops the process. Exploitation requires interactive GUI access on Windows 10, and the documented consequence is limited to terminating the application.
