Unquoted service path handling in iFunbox 4.2 allows local users to execute code as LocalSystem through Apple Mobile Device Service. The service registers its executable path without quotation marks, allowing Windows path parsing to select an attacker-placed executable at an earlier whitespace-delimited path prefix. A low-privileged user must be able to place the executable and wait for the service or system to restart, after which it runs with LocalSystem privileges.
