CVE-2021-47789Public exploit

Local system crash via oversized driver input

Published Jan 15, 2026 · Updated Jan 15, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflow in the GM312Fltr.sys driver for Yenkee YMS 3029 Hornet AIM allows local users to crash Windows. The driver processes a 2,000-byte buffer supplied to DeviceIoControl code 0x22245C beyond its destination stack-buffer bounds, overwriting the stack and triggering bug check 0xF7. Access to the GM312Fltr device and low local privileges are required; successful exploitation forces a kernel-level system crash without reported data disclosure or modification.
