Unauthenticated root access via static password

Hard-coded credentials in Cypress Solutions CTM-200 and CTM-ONE 1.3.6 allow remote attackers to gain root access over Telnet or SSH. The Linux images store a static Chameleon password for privileged accounts; the published exploit authenticates as root over SSH and runs supplied commands. Network access to an enabled Telnet or SSH service is sufficient, exposing privileged device data and command execution without preexisting credentials.
