Browser script execution via reflected cookie values
Published Dec 31, 2025 · Updated Dec 31, 2025
Reflected XSS in COMMAX Biometric Access Control System 1.0.0 allows remote attackers to run scripts through crafted cookie values. The web interface places CMX_ADMIN_NM and CMX_COMPLEX_NM cookie contents into generated HTML without neutralizing script markup. Exploitation requires a victim to load a request carrying the crafted cookies; successful code runs in that victim's browser session and can read or alter session-visible data.
