Authenticated script execution via reflected files parameter
Published Dec 31, 2025 · Updated Dec 31, 2025
Reflected XSS in STVS SA ProVision 5.5 through 5.9.10 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via the files parameter. The /archive/download handler returns the files POST value without sanitizing it, so supplied HTML and script markup executes in the response. Exploitation requires a valid account and active user interaction, exposing data and actions available to the affected browser session.
