Authenticated file disclosure via unvalidated archive path
Published Dec 9, 2025 · Updated Jul 28, 2026
Path traversal in STVS SA ProVision 5.9.10 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files through archive downloads. The archive.rb download handler uses the unverified files parameter as a filesystem path, allowing traversal outside the archive directory. Access to the authenticated archive interface is required, and successful exploitation discloses files readable by the ProVision service account.
