CVE-2021-47663Network attack vector

Account impersonation via reusable JWT session tokens

Published Apr 24, 2025 · Updated Apr 24, 2025

Improper session handling in Franka Emika Robot 4.0.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to impersonate Desk users via guessed JWT session IDs. The Desk web application continues to accept its JWT session token after the associated user logs out or the robot reboots, leaving the token reusable instead of invalidating it. No authentication or user interaction is required; a valid guessed token grants the victim's Desk access, including that account's robot-control privileges.
