Kernel compromise via stale VPIF platform devices

Use-after-free in the Linux kernel's DaVinci VPIF driver from 4.13 allows local users to compromise the kernel during driver unbind. The probe path registers capture and display platform devices, but the remove callback fails to unregister them before devres frees their structures. Exploitation requires local low-privilege access and a system using the TI DaVinci VPIF driver; the stale devices expose kernel confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
