Local service interruption via signed size conversion

Improper size handling in the Linux kernel ALSA OSS PCM layer allows local users to interrupt service through crafted PCM parameters. In sound/core/oss/pcm_oss.c, negative period-size errors are stored in size_t, becoming oversized values passed to lower layers. Access to ALSA OSS PCM emulation is required, and the documented consequence is availability loss rather than data disclosure or modification.
