Local system crash via premature eDP dereference

A NULL pointer dereference in Linux 4.0 through 5.15-rc1 allows local users to crash the system through the MSM eDP driver. In drivers/gpu/drm/msm/edp/edp_ctrl.c, initialization derives dev from edp->pdev->dev before checking whether edp is NULL. A low-privileged local user must reach the MSM embedded DisplayPort path; the bounded impact is a kernel crash without confidentiality or integrity loss.
