Kernel crash via unchecked null status write

NULL pointer dereference in the Linux IDXD dmaengine driver allows local users to crash affected kernels through device commands. The idxd_cmd_exec function writes a device-error value through its status argument before checking whether callers supplied a null pointer. Reachability requires the affected IDXD driver path, and the documented consequence is a local kernel crash without data disclosure or modification.
