Out-of-bounds access via unchecked key data length
Published Oct 14, 2022 · Updated May 15, 2025
Out-of-bounds access in Huawei HarmonyOS 2.0, EMUI 11.0.1, and EMUI 12.0.0 allows attackers to access memory via crafted key data. The HW_KEYMASTER module accepts an attacker-controlled length without checking it against the associated data bounds. Public sources do not identify the exposed interface or state whether the resulting access reads or writes memory.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
