Local privilege escalation via unchecked secure memory buffer

Memory-boundary failure in AMD Ryzen Embedded V2000 and 5000 processors allows local users to escalate privileges through a malicious TA. ASP Secure OS insufficiently checks a memory buffer, letting the TA read and write the secure kernel virtual address space. A locally deployed malicious trusted application is required; successful exploitation compromises the secure kernel and raises its privileges.
